We do not sell equipment over the internet. We do not take payment by wire transfer, and we never ask anyone for a Social Security number, a date of birth or driver's licence details.
Our only Facebook page is facebook.com/senecaimplementco.
If you are talking to "Seneca Implement" and any of those things are happening, you are not talking to us. Stop, and call the number above.
The impostor copied our name and our street address exactly. The phone number is where it gives itself away.

Facebook acts on how many people report a page far more than on how good any one report is. If you have a Facebook account this takes about a minute, and every report genuinely helps.

Following it does two things: you get anything we need to tell people, and it helps the real page turn up ahead of the fake one when somebody searches for us.
If you would rather not use your own account for it, simply telling a few people the real number — (785) 336-2621 — does just as much good.
Stop, and call us on (785) 336-2621. We will tell you plainly whether it is us. We would far rather take a call that turns out to be nothing than hear about it afterwards.
Contact your bank or card issuer straight away and ask them to try to stop or recall the payment — speed matters more than anything else. Then report it to the FBI's IC3 at ic3.gov and to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
If you handed over a Social Security number, date of birth or driver's licence, treat it as an identity theft matter. identitytheft.gov walks you through the steps, including placing a fraud alert or a freeze on your credit file.

The impersonating website and Facebook page have been reported — to the browser safety services that put warnings in front of people, to the companies hosting the site and the mailbox, and to the fraud authorities.
These things take time, and taking one down does not stop another appearing. That is part of why this website exists: so that when somebody searches for Seneca Implement Company, there is something real to find.
